Guide for Authors

Journal of Applied Sciences for Sustainable Future provides a platform for high-quality research and discourse on sustainable development, welcoming original submissions including research articles, review papers, case studies, policy analyses, and short communications. All manuscripts must be unpublished, align with the journal’s scope, and adhere to ethical standards, including proper citations and plagiarism-free content (checked via Turnitin, with a <15% similarity threshold). Submissions should be written in clear, academic English (British or American) and structured appropriately based on manuscript type: research articles (6,000–8,000 words), review articles (8,000–10,000 words), case studies (4,000–6,000 words), policy briefs (2,000–4,000 words), or short communications (1,500–3,000 words).

Each submission must include a title page with author details, affiliations, ORCID IDs, keywords, and a running title. The main text should feature an abstract (200–250 words), introduction, literature review (if applicable), methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion, along with properly formatted tables and figures in high-resolution, editable formats. References must follow APA 7th edition style, with all in-text citations accurately listed. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review process, typically taking 4–8 weeks, after which authors may need to revise their work before final acceptance.

Journal of Applied Sciences for Sustainable Future operates under open access with an article processing charge (APC), though waivers are available for authors from low-income countries.
